Hilbre is a 2003 Catalina 36 MKll, hull # 2135
We purchased ‘Hilbre’ in League City, Texas and shipped her to Lake Mead just outside of Las Vegas. We sailed her on Lake Mead for almost three years before moving her to San Pedro, California.
In 2010, we sailed her to Mexico and spent three years exploring the Sea of Cortez and mainland Mexico. In May 2014, we sailed her back to San Pedro and we continue to enjoy sailing in the Los Angeles Basin as far south as Ensenada, Mexico.
She is a seaworthy boat who has safely seen us through all of the adverse conditions we have sailed in.
